Nathalie Uyttendaele

Nathalie Uyttendaele is an accredited mediator in civil, commercial, social and family matters.

She is a partner in the law firm Uyttendaele, Gérard, Kennes et Associés.

As member of the Brussels and Walloon Brabant Bars, she is specialised in appropriate methods of dispute resolution in civil and family law since 1994. She advises individuals, public authorities and businesses in these areas.

She is a lecturer in mediation and other methods, including conciliation, for various organisations (bMediation, HEC, OBFG, IFJ, etc.), she is also a lecturer at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where she teaches final-year law students an argumentation seminar on alternative dispute resolution methods.

She is the author of doctrinal contributions on appropriate methods of dispute resolution and family law. She has also spoken at conferences and colloquia.

She is a member of the "alternative dispute resolution" commissions of the Brussels Bar and the O.B.F.G., and is currently completing her term as a member, representing French-speaking lawyers, of the Bureau of the Federal Mediation Commission and as Chair of the Training Accreditation Commission.
