Olivier Rijckaert

Olivier Rijckaert is an accredited mediator in civil and commercial matters.

He is a Partner at Law Firm Sotra, specialising in employment law, which he founded in 2014.

As member of the Brussels and Namur Bars, he has specialised in employment law since 1995. With almost 30 years of practice in this field, he advises numerous Belgian and multinational companies of all sizes, as well as administrations (local, regional and federal) and senior executives.

For 10 years, he was a lecturer in in-depth labour law at ULB and also served as a deputy judge at the Liège (Namur) Labour Court.

Olivier Rijckaert is the author of numerous articles and reference works on employment law and is a frequent speaker at conferences.

Since 2007, he has been identified by the "Legal 500", "Chambers Europe", "Best Lawyers" and "Leaders League" professional directories as one of the most eminent practitioners of employment law in Belgium.

Olivier is fluent in French, Dutch and English.
